On Valentines Day we ventured up north to Mammoth Lakes, CA. I had all our goodies packed to entertain Easton...puffs, toys, the iPad etc. We decided to drive at the beginning of his first nap, which was a good choice because he slept for almost 2 hours. We made a stop after about 4 1/2 hours to stretch our legs and grab a bite to eat and of course let the babe out of the car for a bit.

Our first day there the others went snowboarding and I had planned to hang out at the homestead with Easton. However, I got really brave and put him in his snow outfit, baby bjorned him and took a bus ride up to the mountain base and then took a gondola up the mountain to meet everyone for lunch!

Of course when you bring babies on vacation you must be prepared that they wont sleep, which was definitely the case with us! Since the heat wasn't working too well in the condo the babe slept with us and I was so lucky to still be nursing him, otherwise he would have been up all night!
Looks like so much fun-glad you guys had a blast! And of course he is the cutest snow bunny ever!
ReplyDeleteHe is the cutest! It's so funny to think that if you hadn't brought him, he still would not have seen snow!! It's so common around here, I forget about things like that! He's adorable in his snow gear!
ReplyDeleteUmmm I'm contemplating making me holding my wine and my newphew my new facebook pic. Two of my favorite things...besides Jamie :)
ReplyDeleteActually three of my favorite things (my marc made it in the pic as well.) LOL
DeleteMarina you crack me up! Love that you added the marc, can't forget that baby!
