One of my good friends was expecting her second child, another BOY! Since we had a shower for her first son only two years ago she did not want another one! So my very talented friend and I made her a diaper cake and lollipops! This allowed us to give her cute onesies, toys, socks and more for her new baby! It was so fun to make and a great gift to give!

 Cookin' some dinner for the hubby can be one of my favorite pastimes. They always say the way to a mans heart is through his stomach! I can always get in the cooking mood by putting on a cute apron, some tunes, and pour myself a tasty glass of vino!

Spring means Gardens

Gardening is a peaceful escape that I have discovered since becoming a homeowner. This year I want to develop an edible garden and a garden that has beautiful flowers so I can throw a bouquet together on a daily basis! I planted bulbs, roses, vegetables and even some fruit!

Laundry Rooms Addition

When we were buying our home so many "extra" expenses came up. One of the things we did to save money was purchase the previous owners washer & dryer. Since we moved in a year ago we have been dealing with an insufficient washing machine (a nice way to put it). This thing does not clean anything! If we wanted clean sheets, I would bring them to my Mom's house to wash them. That is until last weekend when we purchased the new LG wave-force top loading washing machine! It was delivered on Thursday and since then all the clothes, bedding, pillows, blankets, etc. are shiny clean in this household!

We purchased it from Home Depot after researching other stores. We managed to get 10% off, a credit, free delivery, set-up and haul-away and I couldn't be happier...so far!
