Happy Happy Halloween

Easton's second Halloween has come and gone. He is tightly tucked in for the night after a festive evening! His costume turned out so cute and I am so happy I decided to go through with a little DIY scarecrow! He sat in his wagon while we walked through the neighborhood! We of course has to make some stops at his Grandparents and Auntie & Uncles houses'

Here is his super excited about eating a graham cracker...thank goodness he can't ask for candy just yet!

Wrapping up Halloween

I am super excited for trick or treating tonight, but sad to see October go, especially all of our Halloween decor! Jack-o-lanterns, skeletons, ghosts and bats have sure kept Easton busy around the house!

We of course had to make his room a little festive with some pumpkins lights and a flag banner with the cutest fabrics we could find!

Easton has been busy "preparing" the soil in all the pots and gardens for the fall. Or at least that is the only thing I can come up with as to why he is always in the dirt! Maybe he is just being a boy?
This year I attempted having a cute front entrance with pumpkins and a tin jack-o-lantern that lights up at night. But with this busy toddler the decor often goes missing!

Spooky Hayride

Easton got to go on his first "spooky hayride" and thankfully it really wasn't spooky at all! He was very entertained with all the decor and being towed along through the woods!

Evidence of the seasons changing is all around...before we know it all the trees will be bare and winter will set in! Luckily in So Cal the winter isn't too unbearable!

Pumpkin Pickin'

When we were in Chatham, MA last weekend we walked around and spotted a pumpkin patch a the local church (which we went to last year too). After giving pumpkins hugs and crawling all over them he settled for a mis-shaped mini pumpkin!

It was so nice to visit and do all the "fall" things that us in Southern California crave, but don't quite get! Playing with the pumpkins was a fun way to end our shopping, walking around, and hot coco drinking day in Chatham.
Last year we visited the same pumpkin patch. Easton slept during the experience since he was just a wee 8 week old!
